Flat Broke

I called State Farm to get the deductible amount for a windshield replacement. $100. That’s awesome, because I was told about 3 years ago that it was much more. So I’m going to get the windshield in the X-Terra replaced tomorrow. I hope the XM doesn’t give us any trouble. It’s weird. It’s on the inside and the outside of the glass, so I don’t know if it’s built in or glued.

The X-Terra needs a lot of work. It’ll be 2 years old in April. It needs an oil change and some fuilds flushed, that new windshield, and 4 new tires. But it’s so expensive I can’t afford to fix it. We got a 100k mile warranty on it, but that’s not helping with the upkeep fees. Hopefully this time next year the price will come down somewhere near the worth and I can trade it in. I plan to lease this time, financing is just stupid. Cars only LOSE value, I’d rather pay less and have a new one every 2-3 years.

However, when it comes to my Jetta (<3) I will own that baby forever. And I’ll use the gobs of money I’d pay for a new car to keep my Jetta baby in good shape. If you’re going to buy a car, buy the top of the line version. That way you’re comfortable for years to come. When Michael turns 16, he wants the Jetta. Ha!

hiii amy! Thanks for your comment! ^^
The X-Terra is a NISSAN, right??? I had heard that LEASING is actually a nice thing in the US. It’s like renting a car, i think. xD I have a cousin who’s got cars with leasing.. and everytime I visit them in LA, they have a different car, lol. [Not that I travel to the US that often xD]

Wow sounds like you are really into cars – at least I think they are cars – ha I have no clue when it comes to things like that.

Got something to say? Go for it!
