I’m So Speshul

I was one of the speshul 10 million people interviewed by Jenny. :P

1. Why do you blog?
I blog as a journal, mostly. I’ve gone a long time without having anyone to talk to about things and it’s so much easier to just write it down. Some times I look back at my old entries and think how utterly stupid they are. It’s a good way to keep friends updated and stay in touch. And it’s just.. fun.

2. How did you get started blogging?
I started blogging back in the day when Greymatter became big. I was annoying with manual updates on my website. Originally it started out as only site updates, then I joined a blog with other people and it became more of a personal thing. Since then I’ve been using blogging as a journal or just a way to vent.

3. Is your website a mommy blog?
Not this one, but I’d like to make one. I think I have some things out there to offer to those who are parents of younger children, or will be parents, or are thinking about being parents. Even ideas for babysitters to keep ankle biters busy. I think it would be really fun, but I have to finish up some other projects first.

4. How did you think of the name for your domain?
My son, technically, thought of the name. He brought home a Mother’s Day book he made for me and one of the pages it said, “My Mom Is Pretty As A Star.” I was so touched by this, I teared up. It stuck with me for a while because it was 3 or so months later when I bought the domain. I even have a character on Maple Story with the same name.

5. Do you have any other websites or projects?
I have a lot of other websites and projects. I’m terrible at finishing them, though. I’ll get about 90% of the way done and just lose myself in another project. My websites right now (open and/or working on) are E-Starr, Lala Land, My CPanel, Listed, Smack, Custom Eyes, Celestial Magyk - I feel like there are more but I can’t think of them right now.

If you would like to be interviewed, please do the following:
    1.  Leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.”
    2.  I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
    3.  You will update your weblog with the answers to the  questions.
    4.  You will include this explanation and an offer to interview  someone else in the same post.
    5.  When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them  five questions.

Aww the story about your sons Mothers Days card was absolutely adorable beyond words !

  3. Julie says:

Those are good questions you got asked, and deep ones. That’s really sweet that your son inspired your website name. My Mom inspired mine, so I know how special it is when it’s based off someone you love. I’d like to be interviewed, heh, sounds like fun. Though I’m not so great at interviewing others hah. Is it ok to use the same 5 questions for everyone? There should be different answers, after all.

  4. Checkers says:

What your son did/said was too cute for words.

  5. Vickie says:

Awww, your son is so sweet! My brother and I love our parents as much but we just aren’t the sweet-talk type. I guess I should really start doing that now and make my parents feel special. :)
