I haven’t done in Meme in so long, so I thought I might. I didn’t even know the Friday Five was still around, until I saw it on another site.

1. Who lets you have your way more than you should?
I guess the only one that could possibly, is Jay. Anytime I want anything he usually just says, “Go ahead.” Unfortunately, though, he’s been less agreeable more and more lately.

2. According to the cliche, a man’s heart is through is stomach. But what’s the way to yours?
Well, I guess since I’m such a cold hearted bitch, that would be “With a pick axe.” Imagine it, if you will, my heart encased in frigid ice, with icicles coming off the bottom. Yep, that’s me. Or, so some people would lead you to believe.

3. What’s something that should have been put away but hasn’t been?
My entire house? Seriously. I moved back at the end of May and there are still boxes in the garage that haven’t been emptied. Some of it is my stuff, too. There’s just nowhere to put it. This house seriously needs just one more big closet.

4. When did you last weigh yourself?
This morning. And actually, it was an occassion. After losing all that weight last year I vowed that if I got up to a certain weight again (170lbs) I’d have to start the weightloss plan again. Today I hit that magic number. This weekend I’ll be preparing for my next 6 months of eating right. I will never weigh 230lbs ever again.

5. What do the cops in the donut shop say?
Well, I’ve personally had the pleasure of witnessing a group of cops in a donut shop. Usually it starts off with a glazed donut and ends with half of them rushing out the door for a domestic dispute. I will tell you, though, the majority of their conversation is dirty jokes.

I’ve started looking for Halloween costumes already, because I found out last year how much easier it is to get them when they first come out. Corey wants to be Zero from Megaman, but the ones they have on the internet are poorly made (and $40!). It looks like he’s just going to have to come up with something else.

Last year, Corey was Megaman. He had the little arm cannon and everything. He still wears that costume regularly. And right after Halloween last year I found a Power Rangers costume on clearance for less than $4. He wears it all the time, too.

Quality kids costumes are kind of hard to come by, they’re only meant for one day. And even harder for boys, because they don’t usually play ‘dress up’ like girls do. Or do they? Come to think of it, I’ve seen a lot of little boys reuse their costumes (before 12 years old or so?).. so why not make great costumes?

Last year I was a sorceress.. what should I be this year?

I have a few blogs that I’ve allowed to slip. I always thought it was lack of interest, or time, or motivation, or maybe a combination of all. But today I had an epiphany. I say epiphany because this thought came to mind randomly, completely without reason.

The reason I’m not active in my blogs like I’d like to be is because they’re not what I wanted them to be. I know nothing ever ends up exactly as you planned, but they’re nowhere close. So yeah, it is a matter of lack of interest, but the lack of interest is with what they’ve become, not the sites themselves. I’m grabbing a notebook right now and making plans for what I want on each of these sites and how to make it happen. Especially since Anna <3 is currently available to help with the graphical aspect.

I haven’t lost my interest in the internet or in creating websites, I can tell because I’m always thinking about things I want to do with them. I’ve lost interest in the half assed sites I’ve built. What does this mean? I hope it means some real kick ass sites are coming soon. If nothing else, it means I’ve opened my eyes a bit more and everyone can benefit from that.
